The fastest way
Cancel Zeely in-app (plan button → Manage subscription → Cancel subscription) or at app.zeely.ai under Subscription & payments. If that's blocked, email support@zeely.app, subject "Subscription Cancellation Request"; Zeely says refund reviews take about 48 hours. App Store purchases must be cancelled in Apple ID settings, deleting the app never cancels.
Or let yoink do it for you.
30 seconds. AI emails Zeely, handles retention, chases the refund. You approve once, then sleep.

- Phone: Call +1 650-420-4640 and say “cancel my service”. Expect a retention pitch, decline it twice and hold firm.
- Online (fastest): Direct cancel flow: app.zeely.ai/
- Email: Email
support@zeely.appwith the template below, the route that creates a paper trail and carries the refund ask.
Timing matters: Cancel before the trial end / renewal date shown under Manage subscription, the discounted trial auto-converts to the selected plan (commonly Growth at $79.95/month) and cancelling mid-period gives no pro-rata refund. Zeely also runs repeated charging retries after a failed payment, so a declined card is not a cancellation.

Cancellation Request, [your account email]Send this template
Hi Zeely team, I'm writing to cancel the subscription on my account, [your account email]. I'm giving notice ahead of my next renewal date and expect no further charges from that date. Under the FTC's Click-to-Cancel rule, cancellation must be available through a channel as simple as the one I signed up through. Please confirm by reply that the subscription has been cancelled and that no further charges will be taken. Best, [your name]

Wait 24 hours. If there's no response, send a polite one-line follow-up referencing the original request.
Zeely plans you can cancel
- Starter$29.95/mo
Cancel in-app or in web account settings before the renewal date; access runs to the expiration date shown.
- Plus$49.95/mo
Same in-app / web cancel flow; cancelling does not refund the period already paid for.
- Growth$79.95/mo
Most trials auto-convert into Growth at $79.95/month, cancel or change plan before the trial ends to avoid it.
- Booster add-on (ad-spend fee reducer)$39.95/yr
Separate annual add-on charge, often bought during campaign setup; cancel it separately from the main plan.
What happens to what you’ve already paid
Zeely SUBSCRIPTION fees (Starter/Plus/Growth and the trial charge) are nonrefundable by default: cancelling stops the next renewal but does not refund the period you're already in, and access simply runs to the shown expiration date. Two exceptions exist, legally required refunds for residents of certain US states, and discretionary 'optional' refunds, which must be requested within roughly 120 days of a card payment or 180 days of a PayPal payment by emailing support@zeely.app; Zeely says it needs at least 48 hours to assess each request. ADVERTISING BUDGET and the service fee of up to 12% on Meta ad spend are separate charges from your subscription and are treated as generally non-refundable. Anything bought through the Apple App Store (including app-store trials and the Booster add-on when purchased in-app) is refunded only by Apple, Zeely says it has no technical authority to reverse those transactions.
“EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE STATED HEREIN OR REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOUR PAYMENT IS NONREFUNDABLE.”

Does Zeely charge a cancellation fee?
We found no cancellation fee in Zeely’s published terms. On a rolling plan you simply pay to the end of the current billing period and nothing after. If you’re inside a fixed minimum term, check your signup email for the end date, cancelling early is where fees usually hide.
What doesn’t work for cancelling Zeely
Based on 2 sources, Reddit, app reviews, and direct testing. Skip these and save yourself the loop.
- ✕ Deleting / uninstalling the Zeely app, The Terms state uninstalling Zeely does not cancel the subscription, and BBB complainants report being billed for weeks after deleting the app.
- ✕ Asking Zeely to refund an Apple App Store purchase, Zeely's policy says the App Store manages those subscriptions and it cannot assist with cancellation or refunds, only Apple can approve them.
- ✕ Accepting a 'downgrade' instead of cancelling, Multiple reviewers say the flow steers you to downgrade rather than cancel ('when you try to cancel you can only downgrade'), which keeps billing alive.
- ✕ Sending one email and assuming it cancelled, Trustpilot and App Store users report replies that only asked why they were leaving, with no confirmation, followed by another charge.
- ✕ Emailing from an address that isn't on the account, Zeely's complaint responses say it cannot investigate, cancel or refund a subscription it can't identify, and asks for the account email or payment details.
- ✕ Cancelling in the Zeely app when you paid via Apple ID, App-store-billed subscriptions keep renewing until cancelled in Apple ID subscription settings, regardless of what the Zeely account shows.
Cancelled Zeely but still being charged?
Three common reasons, in order of likelihood:
- The cancellation didn’t actually complete. If you never received a written confirmation from Zeely, treat it as not cancelled. Email
support@zeely.appreferencing your original request date and ask for written confirmation plus a refund of any charge taken since. - You cancelled in the wrong place. Subscriptions started through the App Store or Google Play bill through Apple or Google, cancelling on Zeely’s site doesn’t touch them. Check Settings → Subscriptions on iPhone, or Play Store → Payments & subscriptions on Android.
- Billing lag. A charge that was already in flight when you cancelled can still land a few days later. One trailing charge can be normal; two is not.
If they keep charging after a confirmed cancellation, that’s chargeback territory: dispute the charge with your bank citing “subscription cancelled, merchant continued billing”. The yoink app also flags this automatically, it keeps watching your inbox after a confirmed cancellation and alerts you if Zeely charges again.
How Zeely will try to keep you
Zeely may respond with a retention offer, a discount, a free month, or a downgrade to a cheaper tier. Don't engage with the counteroffer. Restate that you want a full cancellation and cite the consumer law again if they push back.
They’ll say: “Mandatory 'choose your reason for cancellation' screen plus a final 'I still want to cancel' confirmation.”
You say: Pick any reason, then tap through to the final confirm, the cancellation isn't registered until that last screen. Screenshot the confirmation.
They’ll say: “Warning that your credits and access to all tools expire at the end of the billing cycle.”
You say: That's expected: you keep access until the expiration date already paid for. Losing unused credits is not a reason to stay, they don't roll over anyway.
They’ll say: “Counter-offers of a downgrade (e.g. Starter at $29.95/month), a partial refund, or one complimentary month, documented in Zeely's own BBB responses.”
You say: Reply: 'I'm declining the downgrade, the partial refund and the free month. Please cancel outright and confirm in writing, then process the full refund request separately.' Accepting a free month restarts the auto-renew clock.
They’ll say: “'Why are you leaving?' email replies that ask questions instead of confirming, reported by Trustpilot and App Store reviewers who were charged again.”
You say: Answer nothing. Re-send: 'This is a cancellation instruction, not a request for discussion. Confirm the cancellation date and that no further charges will be taken.'
They’ll say: “Upsells immediately after subscribing, notably the $39.95/year Booster, which users say looked like a required step to continue.”
You say: Treat the Booster as a separate charge: name it, its amount and its date in your email, and ask for it to be cancelled and refunded individually. Zeely has refunded Booster charges in full.
They’ll say: “Billing disputes deflected from public reviews into a private mailbox (trust@zeely.app).”
You say: Use it, it's the billing-escalation inbox Zeely itself names in review replies, but keep the public review up until the refund actually lands, and copy support@zeely.app so there's one thread.
Your rights when cancelling
The law where you live is the strongest hook, lead with it when you contact the company.
United States
- FTC Click-to-Cancel Rule (2024+)Cancel must be as easy as sign-up.
The Federal Trade Commission’s Click-to-Cancel rule requires Zeely to make cancelling at least as simple as signing up, same channel, same number of clicks. If they buried the cancel button or forced a phone call, they’re in violation; report to reportfraud.ftc.gov.
- California ARL (auto-renewal law)Renewal must be cancellable online.
California Business & Professions Code §17602 forces any company billing California residents on auto-renewal to provide an online cancel mechanism. Lawsuits have been won on this; companies often refund quickly when it’s cited.
Worldwide
- Card-issuer chargebackYour bank can reverse the charge.
Visa, Mastercard, and Amex all run chargeback schemes, “goods/services not as described” or “subscription not cancelled” are valid reason codes everywhere they operate. Your bank handles the dispute; Zeely has ~45 days to defend.
Rights in other regions (United Kingdom, European Union)
United Kingdom
- Consumer Contracts Regulations 201314-day cooling-off on new subscriptions.
You can terminate any continuous service contract within 14 days of starting it and recover any payment, no questions asked. Applies regardless of Zeely’s own policy.
- Consumer Rights Act 2015Services must be as described.
If Zeely’s service was misrepresented or didn’t deliver what was promised, you have a statutory right to remedy (repair, refund, or price reduction) regardless of their terms.
European Union
- Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU14-day right of withdrawal across all EU states.
EU-wide statutory right to withdraw from any distance-sold contract within 14 days. Mirrored into local law in every member state. Zeely must honour it regardless of where they’re headquartered.
Delete your Zeely account (not just cancel)
Cancelling stops the billing; deleting removes your account and personal data. Do them in that order, deleting an account with an active subscription can leave the billing running with no way to log in and stop it.
If there’s no delete option in Zeely’s account settings, email support@zeely.app with the subject Account deletion request, [your account email] and ask for your account and personal data to be erased under state privacy laws such as the CCPA. They’re typically required to act on it, most companies complete erasure within about 30 days, and you should ask for written confirmation when it’s done.
Common questions about cancelling Zeely
Two routes, depending on how you paid. **In the app:** tap the green button showing your current plan (top-right of the home screen) → **Manage subscription** → scroll to **Cancel subscription** → pick a reason → confirm with *I still want to cancel*. **On the web:** log in at `https://app.zeely.ai/`, open your profile menu, go to **Subscription & payments**, click the arrow on your current plan and choose **Cancel subscription**. Zeely's Subscription & Refund Policy also names `support@zeely.app` as a valid cancellation channel. If you bought through the Apple App Store, cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings instead.
Money-back questions (windows, pro-rata, chargebacks) are covered in the Zeely refund guide. Need a human for something else entirely? The Zeely contact guide lists every channel that actually answers.
