Timing matters: In Order history you can only cancel until the status becomes 'Packed'. After that, cancelling means returning the items within 30 days of the shipping confirmation email. Orders placed on an in-store device can't be cancelled at all; they have to be delivered and then returned in store.

Bershka plans you can cancel
- Online order (bershka.com / app)
Bershka sells clothing, not a subscription. You can cancel an online order yourself in Order history until its status changes to 'Packed'. After that you can't cancel it, so you have to return it. UK terms also let you cancel within 30 days of the Shipping Confirmation by contact form, by calling the freephone number or by emailing contact_gb@bershka.com.
- Order placed on an in-store device
Per the UK terms, you can't cancel an order placed on a Bershka in-store device. You have to pay for it, wait for delivery and then return it.
- In-store purchase
What happens to what you’ve already paid
Bershka has no memberships or subscriptions, so these rules only cover clothing orders. An online order can be cancelled for a full refund until it's marked 'Packed'. After that, you return the items within 30 days of the shipping confirmation email, unworn and with tags on. The UK and Irish terms promise a refund within 14 days of your cancellation notice, though Bershka can wait until it receives the items or proof you sent them. The US terms allow up to 30 days. In-store returns are free. US mail-in returns cost $5.95, and UK drop-off returns are reported at £1.95, both taken off the refund. If Bershka cancels your order itself (stock, payment or address problems), the money goes back to the original card and timing depends on your bank.
“You may cancel your order for any reason up to 30 days from the date on which you receive the Shipping Confirmation”

Does Bershka charge a cancellation fee?
We found no cancellation fee in Bershka’s published terms. On a rolling plan you simply pay to the end of the current billing period and nothing after. If you’re inside a fixed minimum term, check your signup email for the end date, cancelling early is where fees usually hide.
What doesn’t work for cancelling Bershka
Based on 3 sources, Reddit, app reviews, and direct testing. Skip these and save yourself the loop.
- ✕ Cancelling in Order history once the order shows 'Packed' or 'Preparing', Bershka's help page only lets you cancel before the order is 'Packed'. Complaints say orders stuck in preparation can't be cancelled even before they ship. The only route left is to refuse the parcel or return it.
- ✕ Cancelling an order placed on an in-store kiosk or device, The UK terms say you must pay, wait for delivery and then return the items in store.
- ✕ Putting items from several orders in one return parcel or request, Bershka says it isn't responsible for items from different orders sent back under one return request. You need a separate request for each order.
- ✕ Returning after 30 days or returning worn or untagged items, Bershka reserves the right to refuse returns sent after the deadline or not in the condition they arrived in.
- ✕ Returning without a receipt or e-ticket, The US terms say returns without a receipt aren't accepted. For in-store returns you need the e-ticket, either on your phone or printed.
- ✕ Calling the 1(855)(470)(4292) number found in 'Bershka Returns Guide' PDFs, That number shows up in a spam PDF hosted on an unrelated domain. It isn't a Bershka line, so avoid it.
Cancelled Bershka but still being charged?
Three common reasons, in order of likelihood:
- The cancellation didn’t actually complete. If you never received a written confirmation from Bershka, treat it as not cancelled. Email
contact_gb@bershka.comreferencing your original request date and ask for written confirmation plus a refund of any charge taken since. - You cancelled in the wrong place. Subscriptions started through the App Store or Google Play bill through Apple or Google, cancelling on Bershka’s site doesn’t touch them. Check Settings → Subscriptions on iPhone, or Play Store → Payments & subscriptions on Android.
- Billing lag. A charge that was already in flight when you cancelled can still land a few days later. One trailing charge can be normal; two is not.
If they keep charging after a confirmed cancellation, that’s chargeback territory: dispute the charge with your bank citing “subscription cancelled, merchant continued billing”. The yoink app also flags this automatically, it keeps watching your inbox after a confirmed cancellation and alerts you if Bershka charges again.
How Bershka will try to keep you
Bershka may respond with a retention offer, a discount, a free month, or a downgrade to a cheaper tier. Don't engage with the counteroffer. Restate that you want a full cancellation and cite the consumer law again if they push back.
They’ll say: “Order sits in 'Preparing' and the Cancel button disappears, so you're stuck with an order you don't want (complaint reports)”
You say: I tried to cancel order [number] before it shipped, but the Cancel option was gone. Please cancel it now. If it has already shipped, treat this message as notice that I'm withdrawing from the contract. I'll refuse delivery or return the items, and I expect a full refund, including standard delivery, to my original payment method.
They’ll say: “Refund requests by email go unanswered for weeks after the warehouse has received the return (app-review and complaint-site reports)”
You say: My return for order [number] was delivered to you on [date], and tracking proof is attached. Your own terms commit to refunding within [14/30] days. Please confirm the refund date in writing within 5 working days. If you don't, I'll dispute the charge with my card issuer.
They’ll say: “Support says the refund has been issued, but nothing reaches the account (complaint reports)”
You say: You've told me the refund for order [number] was processed, but it hasn't reached my account. Please send the refund reference number or ARN, the amount and the date so my bank can trace it.
They’ll say: “Agents won't pass you to a manager (app reviews)”
You say: I'm asking for this complaint about order [number] to be escalated to a supervisor or the complaints team. Please confirm in writing who now owns the case and when I'll get a final answer.
They’ll say: “Support says there's 'no record of an incident' when an item is missing from a delivered order (complaint reports)”
You say: Order [number] arrived without [item], which I paid [amount] for. A photo of the parcel contents and the packing slip are attached. Please refund the missing item or send it within 7 days.
Your rights when cancelling
The law where you live is the strongest hook, lead with it when you contact the company.
Worldwide
- Card-issuer chargebackYour bank can reverse the charge.
Visa, Mastercard, and Amex all run chargeback schemes, “goods/services not as described” or “subscription not cancelled” are valid reason codes everywhere they operate. Your bank handles the dispute; Bershka has ~45 days to defend.
Rights in other regions (United Kingdom, European Union)
United Kingdom
- Consumer Contracts Regulations 201314-day cooling-off on new subscriptions.
You can terminate any continuous service contract within 14 days of starting it and recover any payment, no questions asked. Applies regardless of Bershka’s own policy.
- Consumer Rights Act 2015Services must be as described.
If Bershka’s service was misrepresented or didn’t deliver what was promised, you have a statutory right to remedy (repair, refund, or price reduction) regardless of their terms.
European Union
- Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU14-day right of withdrawal across all EU states.
EU-wide statutory right to withdraw from any distance-sold contract within 14 days. Mirrored into local law in every member state. Bershka must honour it regardless of where they’re headquartered.
Delete your Bershka account (not just cancel)
Cancelling stops the billing; deleting removes your account and personal data. Do them in that order, deleting an account with an active subscription can leave the billing running with no way to log in and stop it.
If there’s no delete option in Bershka’s account settings, email contact_gb@bershka.com with the subject Account deletion request, [your account email] and ask for your account and personal data to be erased under state privacy laws such as the CCPA. They’re typically required to act on it, most companies complete erasure within about 30 days, and you should ask for written confirmation when it’s done.
Common questions about cancelling Bershka
Log in to bershka.com or the app, open **Order history**, choose the order and tap **Cancel**. If you checked out as a guest, enter your email and phone number to get an access code, and you'll land on the same tracking page. This only works until the order is marked **Packed**. After that, Bershka won't stop it, so you'll need to refuse delivery or return the items within 30 days of the shipping confirmation email. UK shoppers can also cancel by emailing contact_gb@bershka.com or calling 0808 234 0209.
Money-back questions (windows, pro-rata, chargebacks) are covered in the Bershka refund guide. Need a human for something else entirely? The Bershka contact guide lists every channel that actually answers.
