The fastest way
Cancel a UNIQLO order in Purchase History within 30 minutes of placing it; after that it ships and you must return within 30 days. UNIQLO UK support is chat/contact-form only; US shoppers can email wecare@mail.uniqlo-usa.com, subject "Order cancellation + refund request, order #". Refunds land 7 to 14 days after warehouse receipt.
Or let yoink do it for you.

- Phone: Call +1-855-486-4756 and say “cancel my service”. Expect a retention pitch, decline it twice and hold firm.
- Post: No cancellation by post, but posted returns are the only refund route for UK/EU online orders paid online, and for US online orders not paid via Pay In-Store.. Send it tracked so you can prove delivery.
- Email: UNIQLO doesn’t process cancellations by email. Still worth sending one: it dates your cancellation request in writing, which matters for disputes and refunds.
Timing matters: Online orders can only be cancelled within 30 minutes of placing them, via Purchase History; after that the CANCEL button disappears and you must return within 30 days (UK: from delivery; US: from the shipped date).
The email that backs it up
UNIQLO won’t action a cancellation from an email alone, use the fastest channel above for the cancellation itself. This email still earns its place: it puts your cancellation date in writing (your evidence if they keep billing) and it’s where the refund request happens.

Cancellation Request, [your account email]Send this template
Hi UNIQLO team, I'm writing to cancel the subscription on my account, [your account email]. Please treat this as formal notice of cancellation, effective from the end of the current billing period. I'm exercising my statutory right under the consumer-protection law of my jurisdiction to cancel by written notice. Please confirm by reply that the subscription has been cancelled and that no further charges will be taken. Best, [your name]

What happens to what you’ve already paid
UNIQLO sells one-off clothing orders, not subscriptions, so every refund runs through the returns process rather than a cancellation flow. Online orders can be cancelled outright only inside a 30-minute window in Purchase History; miss it and the only route to money back is a return within 30 days (UK: 30 days from delivery; US: 30 days from the shipped date, not delivery). Returned items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered and tagged, and a return-label fee is deducted from the refund (£2.95 per parcel in the UK, $7 in the US) unless the item is faulty. Once the warehouse receives the parcel, refunds are processed within about 7 to 14 calendar days, then a further 3 to 7 business days for the bank; in-store purchases refund to the original payment method at the store, and gift-receipt returns come back as a merchandise gift card, not cash.
“Return Fees Please note that a £2.95 return fee will be deducted from your refund amount. This is £2.95 per return request/parcel and not per item.”

Does UNIQLO charge a cancellation fee?
UNIQLO’s terms mention conditions worth checking before you cancel, see the plan notes and policy quote above for the specifics we found. In general: rolling monthly plans end at the period you’ve already paid for with nothing extra to pay, while minimum-term or contract plans can carry an early-exit charge until the term ends.
What doesn’t work for cancelling UNIQLO
Based on 6 sources, Reddit, app reviews, and direct testing. Skip these and save yourself the loop.
- ✕ Emailing UNIQLO UK/EU customer service to cancel an order, UNIQLO's UK and EU help pages route all customer service to chat support or the Contact Us form and publish no support mailbox; dpo_eu@fastretailing.com is explicitly data-protection only.
- ✕ Asking support to change items, size or address on a placed order, UNIQLO's own FAQ states modifications are not possible once an order has been placed, agents can only cancel (inside the window) or wait for a return.
- ✕ Cancelling online after the CANCEL button disappears, If the CANCEL button is gone the order has started processing and cannot be cancelled online; support cannot force it and directs you to return on arrival.
- ✕ Taking a US online order into a UNIQLO store for a refund, UNIQLO US states refunds/returns for online orders are not issued at stores, except where the order used the Pay In-Store option (returnable only at that store).
- ✕ Returning hemmed, altered, tagless or Final Sale items, Altered/shortened items are refused outright, missing tags/packaging/accessories void the return, and Final Sale items are not eligible for return or exchange.
- ✕ Returning an item bought in another country, Exchanges, returns and price adjustments must be made in the country of purchase, so a UK-bought item cannot be refunded in the US and vice versa.
- ✕ Waiting for a reply to a BBB complaint, The BBB profile for Uniqlo USA LLC records failure to respond to 36 complaints, so BBB filings are a weak lever compared with a card chargeback.
Cancelled UNIQLO but still being charged?
Three common reasons, in order of likelihood:
- The cancellation didn’t actually complete. If you never received a written confirmation from UNIQLO, treat it as not cancelled. Email
wecare@mail.uniqlo-usa.comreferencing your original request date and ask for written confirmation plus a refund of any charge taken since. - You cancelled in the wrong place. Subscriptions started through the App Store or Google Play bill through Apple or Google, cancelling on UNIQLO’s site doesn’t touch them. Check Settings → Subscriptions on iPhone, or Play Store → Payments & subscriptions on Android.
- Billing lag. A charge that was already in flight when you cancelled can still land a few days later. One trailing charge can be normal; two is not.
If they keep charging after a confirmed cancellation, that’s chargeback territory: dispute the charge with your bank citing “subscription cancelled, merchant continued billing”. The yoink app also flags this automatically, it keeps watching your inbox after a confirmed cancellation and alerts you if UNIQLO charges again.
How UNIQLO will try to keep you
UNIQLO may respond with a retention offer, a discount, a free month, or a downgrade to a cheaper tier. Don't engage with the counteroffer. Restate that you want a full cancellation and cite the consumer law again if they push back.
They’ll say: “Chat-only wall, UK/EU support has no published email, so nothing you're told is in writing.”
You say: Before you leave the chat, ask the agent for a case/ticket reference and request the transcript be emailed to you. Quote the reference in every later message so the refund promise survives the agent handover.
They’ll say: “"Your order is already processing, we can't cancel it", the 30-minute CANCEL button has expired.”
You say: Fine, you don't need their permission. Refuse delivery or return the parcel unopened within 30 days, and state in writing that you are exercising your statutory right to cancel a distance purchase, with the order number and the date you received it.
They’ll say: “Return-label fee skimmed off the refund (£2.95 UK / $7 US per parcel).”
You say: UNIQLO's own returns FAQ waives the fee for faulty items. If anything is defective, mis-sent or damaged, say so explicitly ('faulty item, fee waiver per your Returns Policy') and ask for the deduction refunded, plus your postage.
They’ll say: “"Allow 14 calendar days from warehouse receipt", the refund clock only starts when they say it does.”
You say: Send the carrier scan/proof of return (Royal Mail Parcelshop receipt or tracking) and the delivery date to their warehouse. Their FAQ says to contact them with the order number if 14 calendar days have passed since delivery of the return.
They’ll say: “Store staff refuse a mailed/online order return at the counter.”
You say: That matches their policy, so don't fight it in-store. Generate the return label in Purchase History and post it, and ask the store for their refusal in writing if they also declined a store-bought item.
They’ll say: “Silence after the return is delivered, no refund confirmation email.”
You say: Give one written deadline of 14 days with the proof-of-delivery scan attached, then go to your card issuer or PayPal for a chargeback for goods returned and not refunded. Card protection outranks their internal timeline.
Your rights when cancelling
The law where you live is the strongest hook, lead with it when you contact the company.
Worldwide
- Card-issuer chargebackYour bank can reverse the charge.
Visa, Mastercard, and Amex all run chargeback schemes, “goods/services not as described” or “subscription not cancelled” are valid reason codes everywhere they operate. Your bank handles the dispute; UNIQLO has ~45 days to defend.
Rights in other regions (United Kingdom, European Union)
United Kingdom
- Consumer Contracts Regulations 201314-day cooling-off on new subscriptions.
You can terminate any continuous service contract within 14 days of starting it and recover any payment, no questions asked. Applies regardless of UNIQLO’s own policy.
- Consumer Rights Act 2015Services must be as described.
If UNIQLO’s service was misrepresented or didn’t deliver what was promised, you have a statutory right to remedy (repair, refund, or price reduction) regardless of their terms.
European Union
- Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU14-day right of withdrawal across all EU states.
EU-wide statutory right to withdraw from any distance-sold contract within 14 days. Mirrored into local law in every member state. UNIQLO must honour it regardless of where they’re headquartered.
Delete your UNIQLO account (not just cancel)
Cancelling stops the billing; deleting removes your account and personal data. Do them in that order, deleting an account with an active subscription can leave the billing running with no way to log in and stop it.
If there’s no delete option in UNIQLO’s account settings, email wecare@mail.uniqlo-usa.com with the subject Account deletion request, [your account email] and ask for your account and personal data to be erased under data-protection law in most jurisdictions. They’re typically required to act on it, most companies complete erasure within about 30 days, and you should ask for written confirmation when it’s done.
Common questions about cancelling UNIQLO
Only inside a **30-minute window**. Sign in, go to **MEMBERSHIP → Purchase History**, click **CANCEL** next to the order and confirm with **CANCEL THIS ORDER**; you'll see an on-screen confirmation and a cancellation email. If the CANCEL button isn't there, the order has already entered processing and cannot be cancelled online, UNIQLO's guidance is to wait for delivery and then submit a return. Modifications (size, colour, address) are never possible after checkout. If it hasn't shipped yet, note that UNIQLO says it does not charge the card before the order ships.
Money-back questions (windows, pro-rata, chargebacks) are covered in the UNIQLO refund guide. Need a human for something else entirely? The UNIQLO contact guide lists every channel that actually answers.
