Every way to cancel Klook

Timing matters: Every booking carries its own deadline printed in its "Cancellation Policy" block, once the free-cancellation time passes no refund is given, and transport products lock at ticket issue, QR scan or 1 hour before departure. Klook Pass stops being refundable the moment one activity is reserved or used.

The email that backs it up

Klook won’t action a cancellation from an email alone, use the fastest channel above for the cancellation itself. This email still earns its place: it puts your cancellation date in writing (your evidence if they keep billing) and it’s where the refund request happens.

  1. Email the verified address

support@klook.com, the standard route for Klook.

  2. Use a precise subject

Subject: Cancellation Request, [your account email]

  3. Send this template

    Hi Klook team,

I'm writing to cancel the subscription on my account, [your account email].

Please treat this as formal notice of cancellation, effective from the end of the current billing period. Under the FTC's Click-to-Cancel rule, cancellation must be available through a channel as simple as the one I signed up through.

Please confirm by reply that the subscription has been cancelled and that no further charges will be taken.

    Best,
    [your name]
  4. Wait for confirmation

Wait 24 hours. If there's no response, send a polite one-line follow-up referencing the original request.

What happens to what you’ve already paid

Klook is a per-booking marketplace, not a subscription, every refund rule attaches to the individual activity, ticket, hotel, transfer or eSIM you bought, and the deadline is printed in that booking's "Cancellation Policy" section. Bookings are labelled free cancellation (full refund inside the window), conditional cancellation (tiered fees, e.g. Korea intercity bus tickets refund in full until 2 days before departure, then 5%, 10% and 30% fees apply), or no cancellation (no refund at all). Klook Pass is refundable within its activation validity only while unreserved and unused; eSIMs are usually refundable while the data is untouched but never for device-compatibility problems. Once a booking is completed, a ticket is issued/QR-scanned, or the free-cancellation clock runs out, Klook states no refund is given, and approved refunds go back to the original payment method in 3 to 14 days, or via bank transfer taking up to 30 business days if the card route fails.

10.4.1 You may cancel your Voucher by contacting Klook customer service within the cancelation period, as stated at the time of purchase on the Klook Platform.

Does Klook charge a cancellation fee?

We found no cancellation fee in Klook’s published terms. On a rolling plan you simply pay to the end of the current billing period and nothing after. If you’re inside a fixed minimum term, check your signup email for the end date, cancelling early is where fees usually hide.

What doesn’t work for cancelling Klook

Based on 4 sources, Reddit, app reviews, and direct testing. Skip these and save yourself the loop.

Cancelled Klook but still being charged?

Three common reasons, in order of likelihood:

If they keep charging after a confirmed cancellation, that’s chargeback territory: dispute the charge with your bank citing “subscription cancelled, merchant continued billing”. The yoink app also flags this automatically, it keeps watching your inbox after a confirmed cancellation and alerts you if Klook charges again.

How Klook will try to keep you

Klook may respond with a retention offer, a discount, a free month, or a downgrade to a cheaper tier. Don't engage with the counteroffer. Restate that you want a full cancellation and cite the consumer law again if they push back.

Your rights when cancelling

The law where you live is the strongest hook, lead with it when you contact the company.

Worldwide

  • Card-issuer chargeback
Your bank can reverse the charge.

Visa, Mastercard, and Amex all run chargeback schemes, “goods/services not as described” or “subscription not cancelled” are valid reason codes everywhere they operate. Your bank handles the dispute; Klook has ~45 days to defend.

Rights in other regions (United Kingdom, European Union)

United Kingdom

  • Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
    14-day cooling-off on new subscriptions.

You can terminate any continuous service contract within 14 days of starting it and recover any payment, no questions asked. Applies regardless of Klook’s own policy.

  • Consumer Rights Act 2015
    Services must be as described.

If Klook’s service was misrepresented or didn’t deliver what was promised, you have a statutory right to remedy (repair, refund, or price reduction) regardless of their terms.

European Union

  • Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU
14-day right of withdrawal across all EU states.

EU-wide statutory right to withdraw from any distance-sold contract within 14 days. Mirrored into local law in every member state. Klook must honour it regardless of where they’re headquartered.

Delete your Klook account (not just cancel)

Cancelling stops the billing; deleting removes your account and personal data. Do them in that order, deleting an account with an active subscription can leave the billing running with no way to log in and stop it.

If there’s no delete option in Klook’s account settings, email support@klook.com with the subject Account deletion request, [your account email] and ask for your account and personal data to be erased under state privacy laws such as the CCPA. They’re typically required to act on it, most companies complete erasure within about 30 days, and you should ask for written confirmation when it’s done.

Common questions about cancelling Klook

Klook emails you a cancellation confirmation, then refunds the money to the payment method you originally used. Klook's help centre says the refund can take **3 to 14 days** to show up depending on your payment method; if the original card route fails, the refund is sent by bank transfer, which reports as taking up to 30 business days. Any **KlookCash** you spent on the booking is returned to your Klook account automatically and can be reused. One-time-use promo codes are usually not reissued, check the code's terms before you cancel.

Money-back questions (windows, pro-rata, chargebacks) are covered in the Klook refund guide. Need a human for something else entirely? The Klook contact guide lists every channel that actually answers.
