The fastest way
To cancel iClosed, go to Settings → Billing, click the three-dot menu on your plan, choose Cancel Subscription and fill in the exit form. You keep access until the end of the billing cycle, and there are no partial refunds. If that doesn't work, email hello@iclosed.io with the subject 'Cancel subscription, [account email]'. Support says it typically replies within a few hours.
Or let yoink do it for you.

- Phone: Call +1 336-343-6676 and say “cancel my service”. Expect a retention pitch, decline it twice and hold firm.
- Email: Email

Timing matters: You can't switch off auto-renew on its own, so cancel before the renewal date shown in Settings → Billing. A trial converts when its 7 days end, and every seat active at that moment is billed. From then on, renewals come every 30 days from the trial end date, not the signup date.

Cancellation Request, [your account email]Send this template
Hi iClosed team, I'm writing to cancel the subscription on my account, [your account email]. Please treat this as formal notice of cancellation, effective from the end of the current billing period. Under the FTC's Click-to-Cancel rule, cancellation must be available through a channel as simple as the one I signed up through. Please confirm by reply that the subscription has been cancelled and that no further charges will be taken. Best, [your name]

iClosed plans you can cancel
- Startup$24.00/mo
Priced per seat. The annual option works out to $19/seat/month, billed yearly (20% off). You cancel in Settings → Billing → three-dot menu → Cancel Subscription. Access continues until the end of the current cycle. This is the plan the 7-day free trial turns into automatically.
- Growth$59.00/mo
Priced per seat. The annual option works out to $47/seat/month, billed yearly. You cancel the same way, in Settings → Billing. If you downgrade instead of cancelling, the change only takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
- Business$120.00/mo
Priced per seat. The annual option works out to $96/seat/month, billed yearly. Includes a dedicated CSM, who may get in touch when you cancel. If you reactivate on a lower tier later, Business-only integrations are lost.
What happens to what you’ve already paid
This policy covers iClosed's per-seat subscription charges, both monthly and annual. If you cancel, your access runs until the end of the billing cycle you've paid for, and you get no money back for the unused part. That applies to downgrades, seats you remove and annual plans cancelled early. Pro rata billing only goes one way: seats you add or upgrades you make mid-cycle are charged pro rata, but nothing is credited back. The free trial lasts 7 days and then turns into a paid Startup subscription automatically. You're charged for every seat that is active when the trial ends. iClosed's own terms offer no goodwill window for that first charge, so if you didn't mean to be charged you'll need to email hello@iclosed.io and ask. The terms also mention usage-based Credits, but they don't give a separate refund rule for them.
“iClosed does not provide refunds or credits for partial subscription periods, unused features, downgrades, or early termination.”

Does iClosed charge a cancellation fee?
iClosed’s terms mention conditions worth checking before you cancel, see the plan notes and policy quote above for the specifics we found. In general: rolling monthly plans end at the period you’ve already paid for with nothing extra to pay, while minimum-term or contract plans can carry an early-exit charge until the term ends.
What doesn’t work for cancelling iClosed
Based on 8 sources, Reddit, app reviews, and direct testing. Skip these and save yourself the loop.
- ✕ Looking for an auto-renew toggle to switch off, iClosed's help center says you can't switch off auto-renewal on its own. The only way to stop the next charge is the full Cancel Subscription flow in Settings → Billing.
- ✕ Cancelling mid-cycle and expecting a pro rata refund, The terms say there are no refunds or credits for partial periods or early termination. When you cancel, the account simply stays open until the cycle ends.
- ✕ Removing seats to cut the current bill, Removing a seat only takes effect from the next billing cycle. The billing terms say there are no refunds or credits for unused seats in the current cycle.
- ✕ Downgrading to get money back, A downgrade is scheduled for the next billing cycle, and there's no refund or credit for the rest of the current one.
- ✕ Switching from monthly to annual during the trial 'just to see the price', The trial help page says your card is charged on whatever billing cycle is selected when the trial ends. Leave annual selected and you pay the full annual price.
- ✕ Just stopping using the product or disconnecting integrations, The subscription renews automatically on the date shown in Settings → Billing until you cancel it properly. Seats left active when the trial ends are billed too.
Cancelled iClosed but still being charged?
Three common reasons, in order of likelihood:
- The cancellation didn’t actually complete. If you never received a written confirmation from iClosed, treat it as not cancelled. Email
hello@iclosed.ioreferencing your original request date and ask for written confirmation plus a refund of any charge taken since. - You cancelled in the wrong place. Subscriptions started through the App Store or Google Play bill through Apple or Google, cancelling on iClosed’s site doesn’t touch them. Check Settings → Subscriptions on iPhone, or Play Store → Payments & subscriptions on Android.
- Billing lag. A charge that was already in flight when you cancelled can still land a few days later. One trailing charge can be normal; two is not.
If they keep charging after a confirmed cancellation, that’s chargeback territory: dispute the charge with your bank citing “subscription cancelled, merchant continued billing”. The yoink app also flags this automatically, it keeps watching your inbox after a confirmed cancellation and alerts you if iClosed charges again.
How iClosed will try to keep you
iClosed may respond with a retention offer, a discount, a free month, or a downgrade to a cheaper tier. Don't engage with the counteroffer. Restate that you want a full cancellation and cite the consumer law again if they push back.
They’ll say: “A required exit form inside the cancel flow (the help center lists 'answer the exit form questions' as a step)”
You say: Pick any reason, keep the answer to one line and finish the flow. Cancellation isn't done until you get to the end. Take a screenshot of the confirmation screen.
They’ll say: “A phone call from an iClosed rep after you cancel the trial, asking onboarding questions again and trying to book another advisor call (reported on Trustpilot)”
You say: Say you've already cancelled and don't want another call. Ask them to confirm the cancellation in writing to your account email.
They’ll say: “The help article on cancelling asks you to 'get in touch' first so the team can 'find a solution' instead”
You say: You don't have to talk to anyone. The terms say you can cancel through account/billing settings or by contacting support, and both routes count.
They’ll say: “Pressure to sign an annual contract (a Trustpilot reviewer says the team tried to lock them into one)”
You say: Stay on monthly while you're still testing it. Annual plans get no refund for early termination, so a discount you can't get out of costs more if you leave.
Your rights when cancelling
The law where you live is the strongest hook, lead with it when you contact the company.
United States
- FTC Click-to-Cancel Rule (2024+)Cancel must be as easy as sign-up.
The Federal Trade Commission’s Click-to-Cancel rule requires iClosed to make cancelling at least as simple as signing up, same channel, same number of clicks. If they buried the cancel button or forced a phone call, they’re in violation; report to reportfraud.ftc.gov.
- California ARL (auto-renewal law)Renewal must be cancellable online.
California Business & Professions Code §17602 forces any company billing California residents on auto-renewal to provide an online cancel mechanism. Lawsuits have been won on this; companies often refund quickly when it’s cited.
Worldwide
- Card-issuer chargebackYour bank can reverse the charge.
Visa, Mastercard, and Amex all run chargeback schemes, “goods/services not as described” or “subscription not cancelled” are valid reason codes everywhere they operate. Your bank handles the dispute; iClosed has ~45 days to defend.
Delete your iClosed account (not just cancel)
Cancelling stops the billing; deleting removes your account and personal data. Do them in that order, deleting an account with an active subscription can leave the billing running with no way to log in and stop it.
If there’s no delete option in iClosed’s account settings, email hello@iclosed.io with the subject Account deletion request, [your account email] and ask for your account and personal data to be erased under state privacy laws such as the CCPA. They’re typically required to act on it, most companies complete erasure within about 30 days, and you should ask for written confirmation when it’s done.
Common questions about cancelling iClosed
Log in and go to **Settings → Billing**. Click the **three dots** on the far right of your subscription plan and choose **Cancel Subscription**, then finish the exit form. You keep access until the end of the current billing cycle, and after that your card isn't charged again. iClosed's terms also let you cancel by contacting support. If the button doesn't show up or fails, email **hello@iclosed.io** from your account email and ask them to cancel. Keep a screenshot of the confirmation screen or the email reply in case a charge appears later.
Money-back questions (windows, pro-rata, chargebacks) are covered in the iClosed refund guide. Need a human for something else entirely? The iClosed contact guide lists every channel that actually answers.
