Eldorado plans you can cancel
- Marketplace order (currency, items, accounts, top-ups, boosting, gift cards)
These are one-off purchases, not a subscription, so nothing renews. To cancel, ask the seller in the order chat. If they won't, raise a dispute. If Eldorado decides in your favour, the order is cancelled. Third-party reviews say Eldorado adds a buyer fee of 8% + $0.30 at checkout.
- Extended Account Warranty (add-on)
An optional 3- or 6-month add-on that you buy at checkout on some account listings. The price depends on the order.
What happens to what you’ve already paid
This policy covers individual marketplace orders. Eldorado has no subscription. All sales are final on Eldorado and there are no refunds unless the item is not delivered or not as described. If this is the case, the Buyer will receive a full refund. When a dispute goes your way, the order is canceled, and the refund is added to your Eldorado balance minus the payment fee from the original transaction. If you'd rather not keep the funds in your balance for future orders, you can contact support to have the refund sent to your original payment method instead, including the payment fees (not available for prepaid card payments). How long you're protected depends on what you bought. For account orders, a TradeShield period of 5 to 14 days (depending on the category) gives buyers time to report issues like account recovery by the original owner before funds are released to the seller.
“there are no refunds unless the item is not delivered or not as described.”

Does Eldorado charge a cancellation fee?
Eldorado’s terms mention conditions worth checking before you cancel, see the plan notes and policy quote above for the specifics we found. In general: rolling monthly plans end at the period you’ve already paid for with nothing extra to pay, while minimum-term or contract plans can carry an early-exit charge until the term ends.
What doesn’t work for cancelling Eldorado
Based on 8 sources, Reddit, app reviews, and direct testing. Skip these and save yourself the loop.
- ✕ Filing a chargeback with your bank after an order is marked Completed, Customers who issue chargebacks for Completed orders will be permanently banned from the Site. If you face an issue with a non-Completed order - contact the Eldorado support team instead of issuing a chargeback.
- ✕ Cancelling an open dispute or clicking 'Received' before the problem is fixed, Canceling a dispute marks the order as received and confirms the seller delivered it without violating our policies, which ends your protection.
- ✕ Asking for a refund on an account order after the warranty ends, or after changing the account, Eldorado's refund policy refuses these cases: The account warranty period has ended. You purchased the order by mistake, and it was delivered. You didn't purchase it directly on the Eldorado.gg website. You altered the account by changing details, playing on it or making purchases.
- ✕ Assuming an approved refund goes straight back to your card, By default, refunds go to your Eldorado balance, minus the original payment fee. You have to contact support separately to get the money sent to your original payment method.
- ✕ Calling Eldorado by phone to cancel or get a refund, A complaints site reports that you can't call or fax them. Nope, you'll have to stick to emails or on-site comms. Eldorado's own contact page only offers 24/7 live chat and email.
- ✕ Expecting protection for publisher bans or trades made off the platform, A review site lists these as not covered by TradeShield: a game publisher banning the account you bought and trades completed off-platform to avoid fees.
Cancelled Eldorado but still being charged?
Three common reasons, in order of likelihood:
- The cancellation didn’t actually complete. If you never received a written confirmation from Eldorado, treat it as not cancelled. Email
support@eldorado.ggreferencing your original request date and ask for written confirmation plus a refund of any charge taken since. - You cancelled in the wrong place. Subscriptions started through the App Store or Google Play bill through Apple or Google, cancelling on Eldorado’s site doesn’t touch them. Check Settings → Subscriptions on iPhone, or Play Store → Payments & subscriptions on Android.
- Billing lag. A charge that was already in flight when you cancelled can still land a few days later. One trailing charge can be normal; two is not.
If they keep charging after a confirmed cancellation, that’s chargeback territory: dispute the charge with your bank citing “subscription cancelled, merchant continued billing”. The yoink app also flags this automatically, it keeps watching your inbox after a confirmed cancellation and alerts you if Eldorado charges again.
How Eldorado will try to keep you
Eldorado may respond with a retention offer, a discount, a free month, or a downgrade to a cheaper tier. Don't engage with the counteroffer. Restate that you want a full cancellation and cite the consumer law again if they push back.
They’ll say: “Refunds go to your on-site Eldorado balance (effectively store credit), minus the payment fee, so the money stays on the platform”
You say: Thanks for approving the refund. I don't want site credit. Please send the full amount, including the original payment fee, back to my original payment method, as your 'Order dispute' help article allows. Order #[ID].
They’ll say: “Support closes the chat by saying the warranty period is up (reported on Trustpilot: '14 day warrenty period is up .. bad luck')”
You say: I raised this dispute within the TradeShield/warranty window for order #[ID], on [date]. Your policy says the warranty stays active while a dispute is open. Please reopen the case and review the evidence attached.
They’ll say: “Being told to keep negotiating with the seller in the order chat while time runs out”
You say: I contacted the seller on [date/time] and they haven't resolved it. Your seller rules give sellers 2 hours (currency/items) or 12 hours (accounts/boosting) to provide proof. That deadline has passed, so I'm asking the Resolution Team to rule and refund me in full.
They’ll say: “Sending refund 'instructions' the buyer can't actually complete, then going quiet (reported on PissedConsumer for a $96 gift-card order)”
You say: Writing to support@eldorado.gg so there's a record. The seller has already cancelled order #[ID], but I haven't received the refund. Please process it directly to my original payment method and confirm the date in writing.
They’ll say: “Ignoring cancellation emails until the buyer mentions legal options (a TikTok user said this is what finally got their order cancelled)”
You say: Eldorado Market, UAB is based in Lithuania, so EU consumer law applies. If this isn't resolved within 14 days, I'll take the complaint to Lithuania's consumer protection authority and my card issuer for an undelivered / not-as-described purchase.
Your rights when cancelling
The law where you live is the strongest hook, lead with it when you contact the company.
Worldwide
- Card-issuer chargebackYour bank can reverse the charge.
Visa, Mastercard, and Amex all run chargeback schemes, “goods/services not as described” or “subscription not cancelled” are valid reason codes everywhere they operate. Your bank handles the dispute; Eldorado has ~45 days to defend.
Rights in other regions (United Kingdom, European Union)
United Kingdom
- Consumer Contracts Regulations 201314-day cooling-off on new subscriptions.
You can terminate any continuous service contract within 14 days of starting it and recover any payment, no questions asked. Applies regardless of Eldorado’s own policy.
- Consumer Rights Act 2015Services must be as described.
If Eldorado’s service was misrepresented or didn’t deliver what was promised, you have a statutory right to remedy (repair, refund, or price reduction) regardless of their terms.
European Union
- Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU14-day right of withdrawal across all EU states.
EU-wide statutory right to withdraw from any distance-sold contract within 14 days. Mirrored into local law in every member state. Eldorado must honour it regardless of where they’re headquartered.
Delete your Eldorado account (not just cancel)
Cancelling stops the billing; deleting removes your account and personal data. Do them in that order, deleting an account with an active subscription can leave the billing running with no way to log in and stop it.
If there’s no delete option in Eldorado’s account settings, email support@eldorado.gg with the subject Account deletion request, [your account email] and ask for your account and personal data to be erased under state privacy laws such as the CCPA. They’re typically required to act on it, most companies complete erasure within about 30 days, and you should ask for written confirmation when it’s done.
Common questions about cancelling Eldorado
There's no cancel button for buyers. First, **message the seller in the order chat** and ask them to cancel and refund. If they won't or don't reply, **raise a dispute from the order page** and upload your evidence. Eldorado's Resolution Team then decides, usually **within 3 days**. If it goes your way, the order is cancelled and the money goes to your Eldorado balance. **Don't click 'Received' and don't cancel the dispute** while the problem is still open. Either one ends your protection.
Money-back questions (windows, pro-rata, chargebacks) are covered in the Eldorado refund guide. Need a human for something else entirely? The Eldorado contact guide lists every channel that actually answers.
