The fastest way
E-Receipt is Victoria's Secret's digital purchase receipt, not a subscription, there is no recurring charge to cancel. Stop the emails at victoriassecret.com/us/subscriptions/unsubscribe/email (7 to 10 business days). For a charge, call Customer Care 1-800-411-5116 or email customercare@victoriassecret.com, subject: "Refund request, order number". Merchandise refunds run 30 days from ship date.
Or let yoink do it for you.
30 seconds. AI emails E-Receipt, handles retention, chases the refund. You approve once, then sleep.

- Phone: Call +1-800-411-5116 and say “cancel my service”. Expect a retention pitch, decline it twice and hold firm.
- Online (fastest): Direct cancel flow: www.victoriassecret.com/us/subscriptions/unsubscribe/email
- Email: E-Receipt doesn’t process cancellations by email. Still worth sending one: it dates your cancellation request in writing, which matters for disputes and refunds.
Timing matters: E-receipt/marketing opt-outs take 7-10 business days to take effect (catalogues up to 90 days). Refund clock is 30 days from the in-store purchase date or, for online orders, the date the order shipped - days 31-90 pay out as merchandise credit only. Orders already placed generally cannot be cancelled outside the US at all, so call Customer Care within minutes of ordering.
Cancelling a E-Receipt order by email
E-Receipt won’t action a cancellation from an email alone, use the fastest channel above for the cancellation itself. This email still earns its place: it puts your cancellation date in writing (your evidence if they keep billing) and it’s where the refund request happens.

What happens to what you’ve already paid
The e-receipt itself is just a digital record of a purchase, it carries no fee and nothing recurring, so there is no subscription refund to chase. For the underlying merchandise purchase (store or online, incl. PINK), a receipted return inside 30 days is refunded to the original form and amount of payment; the 30 days start on the in-store purchase date or, for online orders, the ship date. Returns after that window, or with only a gift receipt, are settled as merchandise credit rather than money back, and non-receipted returns are exchange-only and capped at $250 in any 90-day period. Original shipping and handling is not refundable, in-store refunds post in about 3 to 5 business days, and mailed returns need roughly 14 business days to process plus 3 to 5 more for the refund to land.
“During the return window (30 days) and with a valid receipt, we will help you exchange the merchandise or issue a refund based on the original form and amount of payment.”

Does E-Receipt charge a cancellation fee?
We found no cancellation fee in E-Receipt’s published terms. On a rolling plan you simply pay to the end of the current billing period and nothing after. If you’re inside a fixed minimum term, check your signup email for the end date, cancelling early is where fees usually hide.
What doesn’t work for cancelling E-Receipt
Based on 3 sources, Reddit, app reviews, and direct testing. Skip these and save yourself the loop.
- ✕ Emailing to cancel an order that has already been placed, The US help article tells you to contact Customer Care and says only that they will 'make every effort' based on order status; orders shipping outside the United States cannot be changed at all, and the UK help centre states orders cannot be changed or cancelled once placed.
- ✕ Returning an online order in-store using the order invoice as your receipt, Long-running shopper threads report stores refusing the emailed invoice/packing slip as proof of purchase; if the associate cannot locate proof of purchase the return gets forwarded to the distribution centre instead, adding ~14 business days.
- ✕ Expecting cash back to your card after the 30-day window, Returns accepted between 31 and 90 days are settled as merchandise credit, not a refund to the original payment method.
- ✕ Stacking repeat no-receipt returns for refunds, Non-receipted returns are tied to exchanges, capped at $250 per 90 days, require government-issued photo ID, and return history is tracked by a third party (The Retail Equation, 800-652-2331).
- ✕ Returning items with the sewn-in garment tag cut or removed, Items whose sewn-in tag has been removed or cut are excluded from returns entirely.
Cancelled E-Receipt but still being charged?
Three common reasons, in order of likelihood:
- The cancellation didn’t actually complete. If you never received a written confirmation from E-Receipt, treat it as not cancelled. Email
customercare@victoriassecret.comreferencing your original request date and ask for written confirmation plus a refund of any charge taken since. - You cancelled in the wrong place. Subscriptions started through the App Store or Google Play bill through Apple or Google, cancelling on E-Receipt’s site doesn’t touch them. Check Settings → Subscriptions on iPhone, or Play Store → Payments & subscriptions on Android.
- Billing lag. A charge that was already in flight when you cancelled can still land a few days later. One trailing charge can be normal; two is not.
If they keep charging after a confirmed cancellation, that’s chargeback territory: dispute the charge with your bank citing “subscription cancelled, merchant continued billing”. The yoink app also flags this automatically, it keeps watching your inbox after a confirmed cancellation and alerts you if E-Receipt charges again.
How E-Receipt will try to keep you
E-Receipt may respond with a retention offer, a discount, a free month, or a downgrade to a cheaper tier. Don't engage with the counteroffer. Restate that you want a full cancellation and cite the consumer law again if they push back.
They’ll say: “Offering an exchange or merchandise credit instead of money back when you have no paper receipt”
You say: State the purchase is receipted: 'I have the e-receipt/order confirmation for order [number] dated [date], the policy refunds to the original form and amount of payment within 30 days, so please process a card refund, not store credit.'
They’ll say: “Counting the 30 days from the order date so you appear to be outside the window”
You say: Quote their own rule back: 'The 30-day timeframe starts from the date my order shipped ([ship date]), not the order date, my return is inside the window.'
They’ll say: “Steering you to a price adjustment or a replacement order rather than a refund”
You say: Accept the adjustment only as a partial: 'Please apply the price adjustment and confirm my right to return the item for a full refund within the 30-day window remains intact.'
They’ll say: “Logging photo ID and return history (third-party return tracking) to discourage further returns”
You say: Keep returns receipted and ask for the record: 'This is a receipted return, so please do not process it as a non-receipted exchange. I'd also like a copy of my return history.'
They’ll say: “Slow-walking email opt-outs, 7 to 10 business days for email lists and up to 90 days for pre-printed catalogues”
You say: Pin it in writing: 'Please confirm in writing the date my address was suppressed from all marketing and e-receipt lists. Any send after that confirmation I will treat as a compliance issue.'
They’ll say: “Pushing you into 24/7 live chat, where agents cannot amend payment details or escalate a refund”
You say: Escalate deliberately: 'Chat cannot resolve this. Please pass this to Customer Care on 1-800-411-5116 / a supervisor, and send me a written case reference for the refund on order [number].'
Your rights when cancelling
The law where you live is the strongest hook, lead with it when you contact the company.
Worldwide
- Card-issuer chargebackYour bank can reverse the charge.
Visa, Mastercard, and Amex all run chargeback schemes, “goods/services not as described” or “subscription not cancelled” are valid reason codes everywhere they operate. Your bank handles the dispute; E-Receipt has ~45 days to defend.
Rights in other regions (United Kingdom, European Union)
United Kingdom
- Consumer Contracts Regulations 201314-day cooling-off on new subscriptions.
You can terminate any continuous service contract within 14 days of starting it and recover any payment, no questions asked. Applies regardless of E-Receipt’s own policy.
- Consumer Rights Act 2015Services must be as described.
If E-Receipt’s service was misrepresented or didn’t deliver what was promised, you have a statutory right to remedy (repair, refund, or price reduction) regardless of their terms.
European Union
- Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU14-day right of withdrawal across all EU states.
EU-wide statutory right to withdraw from any distance-sold contract within 14 days. Mirrored into local law in every member state. E-Receipt must honour it regardless of where they’re headquartered.
Delete your E-Receipt account (not just cancel)
Cancelling stops the billing; deleting removes your account and personal data. Do them in that order, deleting an account with an active subscription can leave the billing running with no way to log in and stop it.
If there’s no delete option in E-Receipt’s account settings, email customercare@victoriassecret.com with the subject Account deletion request, [your account email] and ask for your account and personal data to be erased under data-protection law in most jurisdictions. They’re typically required to act on it, most companies complete erasure within about 30 days, and you should ask for written confirmation when it’s done.
Common questions about cancelling E-Receipt
An **e-receipt** is the digital copy of a Victoria's Secret till or online receipt sent to the email address on your account, it is a record of a purchase, not a membership, so there is no plan, no monthly fee and nothing that auto-renews. To stop receiving them (plus marketing mail), use the email preference centre at `victoriassecret.com/us/subscriptions/unsubscribe/email` and select the unsubscribe option. Suppression typically takes **7 to 10 business days**, and pre-printed catalogues can keep arriving for up to 90 days. Text opt-out is separate: reply STOP to the most recent message.
Money-back questions (windows, pro-rata, chargebacks) are covered in the E-Receipt refund guide. Need a human for something else entirely? The E-Receipt contact guide lists every channel that actually answers.
