What happens to what you’ve already paid

Prada lets you cancel an unshipped order for free any time before it leaves the warehouse. Once shipped, you have 30 days from the shipping-confirmation date in the US (14 days on Prada's EU / international sites) to return items free of charge. Goods must be unworn, in original packaging with all tags and security tags attached. Refunds go back to the original payment method within roughly 5 to 10 business days of the warehouse receiving the return, and can take 1 to 2 billing cycles to appear on a credit card statement. Personalized products and opened perfumes are non-refundable.

Does Prada charge a cancellation fee?

We found no cancellation fee in Prada’s published terms. On a rolling plan you simply pay to the end of the current billing period and nothing after. If you’re inside a fixed minimum term, check your signup email for the end date, cancelling early is where fees usually hide.

Cancelled Prada but still being charged?

Three common reasons, in order of likelihood:

• The cancellation didn’t actually complete. If you never received a written confirmation from Prada, treat it as not cancelled. Email client.service.eu@prada.com referencing your original request date and ask for written confirmation plus a refund of any charge taken since.
• You cancelled in the wrong place. Subscriptions started through the App Store or Google Play bill through Apple or Google, cancelling on Prada’s site doesn’t touch them. Check Settings → Subscriptions on iPhone, or Play Store → Payments & subscriptions on Android.
• Billing lag. A charge that was already in flight when you cancelled can still land a few days later. One trailing charge can be normal; two is not.

Prada may respond with a retention offer, a discount, a free month, or a downgrade to a cheaper tier. Don't engage with the counteroffer. Restate that you want a full cancellation and cite the consumer law again if they push back.

• They’ll say: “Offering store credit or exchange in-store instead of a refund”

  You say: Refuse, the terms guarantee a refund to your original payment method for online orders returned by post. Store credit is optional, not a substitute, and is only valid at US Prada stores for one year.

• They’ll say: “Claiming the item shows 'signs of wear' to reject the return”

  You say: Photograph the item and all tags before shipping back. If they reject the return, request the inspection report in writing and dispute the charge with your bank citing the documented condition.

  You say: Start the online return via My Account yourself the same day, you don't need Client Service to authorise it. The 14/30-day clock runs from the shipping confirmation, not from their response.

Delete your Prada account (not just cancel)

Cancelling stops the billing; deleting removes your account and personal data. Do them in that order, deleting an account with an active subscription can leave the billing running with no way to log in and stop it.

If there’s no delete option in Prada’s account settings, email client.service.eu@prada.com with the subject Account deletion request, [your account email] and ask for your account and personal data to be erased under state privacy laws such as the CCPA. They’re typically required to act on it, most companies complete erasure within about 30 days, and you should ask for written confirmation when it’s done.
