The fastest way
Cancel ECHO-ME on the POP.STORE website, not in the app. Go to profile icon > Settings > your subscription > Manage > three-dot menu > Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the billing period ends, and POP.STORE gives no refunds. For billing problems, email support@pop.store with the subject 'Cancel ECHO-ME subscription, [account email]'. No one has reported how long confirmation takes.
Or let yoink do it for you.
30 seconds. AI emails ECHO-ME, handles retention, chases the refund. You approve once, then sleep.

- Phone: Call +18555930401 and say “cancel my service”. Expect a retention pitch, decline it twice and hold firm.
- Email: ECHO-ME doesn’t process cancellations by email. Still worth sending one: it dates your cancellation request in writing, which matters for disputes and refunds.
Timing matters: Cancel before your next renewal date, because charges already made aren't refunded and access runs to the end of the period. On the 15-day paid trial ($5 to start), $14 is charged on day 15 and the full monthly price from month 2. You can only cancel in a web browser, not in the mobile app.
The email that backs it up
ECHO-ME won’t action a cancellation from an email alone, use the fastest channel above for the cancellation itself. This email still earns its place: it puts your cancellation date in writing (your evidence if they keep billing) and it’s where the refund request happens.

Cancellation Request, [your account email]Send this template
Hi ECHO-ME team, I'm writing to cancel the subscription on my account, [your account email]. Please treat this as formal notice of cancellation, effective from the end of the current billing period. Under the FTC's Click-to-Cancel rule, cancellation must be available through a channel as simple as the one I signed up through. Please confirm by reply that the subscription has been cancelled and that no further charges will be taken. Best, [your name]

Wait 24 hours. If there's no response, send a polite one-line follow-up referencing the original request.

What happens to what you’ve already paid
ECHO-ME and POP.STORE creator platform subscriptions (monthly, yearly and paid-trial plans) are non-refundable once charged. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the period ends. A different rule covers fan-side purchases: Creator Subscriptions and Digital Downloads bought from a creator's pop.store page are not refundable 'except as required by applicable law'. Those cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and POP.STORE says it 'facilitates the transaction but is not a party to it', so ask the creator first. If you were charged without consent, for example after a trial you never meant to keep, dispute it with POP.STORE support and, if they don't reply, with your card issuer.
“Once a subscription is purchased, refunds are not available. However, you may cancel at any time, and your current subscription will remain active until the end of the billing period.”

Does ECHO-ME charge a cancellation fee?
We found no cancellation fee in ECHO-ME’s published terms. On a rolling plan you simply pay to the end of the current billing period and nothing after. If you’re inside a fixed minimum term, check your signup email for the end date, cancelling early is where fees usually hide.
What doesn’t work for cancelling ECHO-ME
Based on 3 sources, Reddit, app reviews, and direct testing. Skip these and save yourself the loop.
- ✕ Cancelling inside the POP.STORE mobile app, The help center says you cannot manage or cancel a subscription in the mobile app. You have to log in through a web browser.
- ✕ Uninstalling the app or disconnecting Instagram/TikTok, Billing is tied to the subscription in your web account settings. Removing the app or your social connections doesn't cancel it, and one reviewer said the site claimed 'no account is found' even though their socials were connected.
- ✕ Asking for a refund after being charged, The help center says plainly that refunds are not available once a subscription is purchased. A plain 'please refund me' request is likely to be refused.
Cancelled ECHO-ME but still being charged?
Three common reasons, in order of likelihood:
- The cancellation didn’t actually complete. If you never received a written confirmation from ECHO-ME, treat it as not cancelled. Email
support@pop.storereferencing your original request date and ask for written confirmation plus a refund of any charge taken since. - You cancelled in the wrong place. Subscriptions started through the App Store or Google Play bill through Apple or Google, cancelling on ECHO-ME’s site doesn’t touch them. Check Settings → Subscriptions on iPhone, or Play Store → Payments & subscriptions on Android.
- Billing lag. A charge that was already in flight when you cancelled can still land a few days later. One trailing charge can be normal; two is not.
If they keep charging after a confirmed cancellation, that’s chargeback territory: dispute the charge with your bank citing “subscription cancelled, merchant continued billing”. The yoink app also flags this automatically, it keeps watching your inbox after a confirmed cancellation and alerts you if ECHO-ME charges again.
How ECHO-ME will try to keep you
ECHO-ME may respond with a retention offer, a discount, a free month, or a downgrade to a cheaper tier. Don't engage with the counteroffer. Restate that you want a full cancellation and cite the consumer law again if they push back.
They’ll say: “The app blocks cancellation, so you have to switch to a web browser.”
You say: Skip the app. Log in at pop.store in a browser, open profile icon > Settings, choose your subscription, then Manage > three-dot menu > Cancel Subscription. Take a screenshot of the confirmation.
They’ll say: “A cheap intro offer (50% off the first month, or a $5 paid trial) quietly rolls into full price ($14 on day 15, then $19, $99/mo).”
You say: Write down the date you signed up and cancel before day 15 or before the first full-price renewal. Cancelling early doesn't cut off the time you've already paid for.
They’ll say: “A blanket no-refund policy”
You say: POP.STORE's own terms carve out refunds 'required by applicable law'. Point to that wording, say the charge was unauthorized or the trial terms weren't clear, and ask for a refund in writing to support@pop.store.
They’ll say: “Support emails go unanswered (reported in a Google Play review).”
You say: Send to support@pop.store and creators@pop.store, and call the developer line +18555930401. If nothing comes back within about 7 days, dispute the charge with your bank or card issuer and block the merchant.
Your rights when cancelling
The law where you live is the strongest hook, lead with it when you contact the company.
United States
- FTC Click-to-Cancel Rule (2024+)Cancel must be as easy as sign-up.
The Federal Trade Commission’s Click-to-Cancel rule requires ECHO-ME to make cancelling at least as simple as signing up, same channel, same number of clicks. If they buried the cancel button or forced a phone call, they’re in violation; report to reportfraud.ftc.gov.
- California ARL (auto-renewal law)Renewal must be cancellable online.
California Business & Professions Code §17602 forces any company billing California residents on auto-renewal to provide an online cancel mechanism. Lawsuits have been won on this; companies often refund quickly when it’s cited.
Worldwide
- Card-issuer chargebackYour bank can reverse the charge.
Visa, Mastercard, and Amex all run chargeback schemes, “goods/services not as described” or “subscription not cancelled” are valid reason codes everywhere they operate. Your bank handles the dispute; ECHO-ME has ~45 days to defend.
Rights in other regions (United Kingdom, European Union)
United Kingdom
- Consumer Contracts Regulations 201314-day cooling-off on new subscriptions.
You can terminate any continuous service contract within 14 days of starting it and recover any payment, no questions asked. Applies regardless of ECHO-ME’s own policy.
- Consumer Rights Act 2015Services must be as described.
If ECHO-ME’s service was misrepresented or didn’t deliver what was promised, you have a statutory right to remedy (repair, refund, or price reduction) regardless of their terms.
European Union
- Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU14-day right of withdrawal across all EU states.
EU-wide statutory right to withdraw from any distance-sold contract within 14 days. Mirrored into local law in every member state. ECHO-ME must honour it regardless of where they’re headquartered.
Delete your ECHO-ME account (not just cancel)
Cancelling stops the billing; deleting removes your account and personal data. Do them in that order, deleting an account with an active subscription can leave the billing running with no way to log in and stop it.
If there’s no delete option in ECHO-ME’s account settings, email support@pop.store with the subject Account deletion request, [your account email] and ask for your account and personal data to be erased under state privacy laws such as the CCPA. They’re typically required to act on it, most companies complete erasure within about 30 days, and you should ask for written confirmation when it’s done.
Common questions about cancelling ECHO-ME
Treat it as cancelled only when you have it in writing. If ECHO-ME hasn't sent a written confirmation, assume the cancellation didn't complete and email them referencing your original request date. Keep that confirmation, it's your evidence if a charge appears afterwards.
Money-back questions (windows, pro-rata, chargebacks) are covered in the ECHO-ME refund guide. Need a human for something else entirely? The ECHO-ME contact guide lists every channel that actually answers.
