How to Get an iD Mobile Refund in 30 Days.
iD Mobile refunds are per-order, and their own policy gives you a 30-day window. Miss it and you still have tools, a clear email, a card-issuer chargeback. Here's the playbook.

The short answer
iD Mobile gives a 30-day cooling-off window for purchases made on idmobile.co.uk or via phone sales, but only 14 days if you bought in a Currys/Carphone Warehouse store or via mobiles.co.uk. Cancelling within the window is 'at no cost' but you still pay pro-rata line rental and usage up to your disconnection date, so expect a small final bill even on a cancelled order. Upfront handset payments are refunded once the returned phone is received and processed. After the window closes, leaving mid-contract means an Early Termination Fee covering the remaining months.
Or let yoink chase the refund.

“If you made a new purchase/upgraded via distance means (as defined in The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013) such as buying on idmobile.co.uk or over the phone, you may cancel your agreement with us at any time up to 30-calendar days from the date you receive your order.”

How long does a iD Mobile refund take?
Most merchants agree to a straightforward refund within 1 to 3 working days of a well-written email request. Once agreed, the money itself takes another 3 to 5 working days to land, that part is card-network processing and no merchant can skip it. If nothing has arrived 10 working days after a written “refund approved”, reply on the same thread asking for the ARN (acquirer reference number), which your bank can trace.
Note iD Mobile’s own policy works on a 30-day window, ask inside it and the request is routine; outside it you’re relying on goodwill or statutory rights.

Refund FAQ for iD Mobile
If you're **out of contract**, there's no fee, you only pay usage up to your disconnection date. If you're **still in the minimum term**, you'll pay an Early Termination Fee, calculated by multiplying your monthly plan cost by the months remaining, plus any outstanding charges. Check the exact figure by texting **INFO** and your date of birth to **85075**, or via Plan > Leave iD > Leaving Cost in the app. Note the quote can fluctuate, so screenshot it.
