How to Get a Leighton House Refund.
Here's what Leighton House actually owes you, what their policy quietly says, and how to escalate if they ignore the request.

The short answer
Admission and event tickets are non-refundable. The museum's stated remedy is an exchange, not a refund, you must email museums@rbkc.gov.uk at least 7 days before your booked date and they'll try to accommodate a new date. This does not override your statutory rights (e.g. if the museum cancels an event, a full refund is offered, as happened during the 2020 closure). Shop purchases are separate and carry a 30-day return/refund window.
Or let yoink chase the refund.
30 seconds to set up. yoink emails Leighton House, cites the policy, escalates if ignored, and surfaces the win when the money lands.

“Unfortunately, we cannot issue any refunds for cancellations. If you would like to exchange your ticket, please contact us on museums@rbkc.gov.uk seven days before the admission or event is scheduled and we will try to accommodate your request.”

How long does a Leighton House refund take?
Most merchants agree to a straightforward refund within 1 to 3 working days of a well-written email request. Once agreed, the money itself takes another 3 to 5 working days to land, that part is card-network processing and no merchant can skip it. If nothing has arrived 10 working days after a written “refund approved”, reply on the same thread asking for the ARN (acquirer reference number), which your bank can trace.

Refund FAQ for Leighton House
No. Leighton House's booking FAQ is explicit: they **cannot issue refunds for cancellations**.
